Busy, family require a lovely professional, confident, easygoing maternity nanny to work alongside the mother care for a 3rd baby from new born and two older siblings aged 4 & 7 years who are at attending nursery & school. The household is international and they travel frequently. Ideally the maternity nanny will be friendly, well presented, discreet, have very high standards, hygienic, developmentally focused, organised. The household is fully staffed but the nanny needs to use their initiative and able to work with other staff around. Busy family based in a lovely area of Totteridge and Whetstone close to all local parks. The family are looking for a nanny who is able to use her initiative, is flexible and good at age appropriate games and stimulation. There is a large nanny network around the area and mum is happy with play dates etc. This is a sole charge position as both parents work full time and they would consider someone with a nursery background. In September, the little boy may start doing half days at nursery but this is all within walking distance from the house.

Your accommodation is a lovely large double bedroom and bathroom in the basement area but very nicely done up. This role may suit someone who would be looking to do a 6 month to one year position.

We are currently seeking three teaching assistants to work within a Primary School in the Peterlee area of Durham. All three posts will be full time for the duration of the summer term.

Working within the school nursery, reception or lower key stage two you will be a competent teaching assistant who can make a positive contribution to the pupils learning.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take an active role in the teaching and learning activities planned by the teacher.
• Take responsibility for a group of children engaged in a particular task.
• Monitor and record the progress of the children.
• Ensure safe movement of SEN pupils around the school.
• Prepare teaching materials for use in class.
• Prepare and mount children’s work in class and around the school.
• Leave all working areas clean and tidy after use.
• Take part in school based in-service training and specialised training where appropriate.
• Contribute to the wider aspect of school life where appropriate.
• To work as a teaching assistant within other year groups when required.

Essential Skills:

• NNEB / CACHE / NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

• Evidence of working with pupils in the Foundation Stage or KS2.
• Knowledge and understanding of the needs of children with SEN.
• Excellent attendance record.
