Room Leaders – Camden

A lovely setting based in Camden is looking for a very strong Room Leader to work in their toddler room. This is your stepping stone to becoming a 3rd in charge within the setting or for one of their settings in Central London. A beautiful purpose built setting based in Guildford requires a Room Leader / 3rd in Charge to work in their in one of their fantastic rooms. The candidate applying for this position must be knowledgeable on Birth to Three and Foundation Stage nad have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Some of your responsibilities would be to make sure ….

  1. Your room is kept in order and safe
  2. Should be able to guide and train the nursery nurses when necessary
  3. Should be able to come up with creative activites for children aged 3-5 years
  4. Must be able to maintain children’s records
  5. Should be able to maintain excellent relationship with parents
  6. Cover for the Deputy when necessary (Training will be given)

You must be Level 3 qualified in childcare and MUST have minimum of one year experience as a Pre-school room leader.

Temporary Nanny

We are looking for a Nursery Manager with the ability to inspire and motivate a staff team and promote only the very best standards of care and education for all children at the nursery.

You will be some who is passionate about all aspects of childcare and education and able to bring new ideas to the role.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff

To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times

To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels

To be influential in developing strong links with parents.

To manage the day to day operations of the nursery

You will be:

NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent

and will need to have, knowledge of OFSTED standards, excellent knowledge of the EYFS, excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines, excellent communication skills, strong people management skills and knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.

Previous relevant supervisory experience is essential
