You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure high standards of Childcare and Education are maintained as well as ensuring the occupancy Levels are maintained.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
  • With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of OFSTED standards and EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.

Maternity Nurse

We require an experienced maternity nurse for twins due (40 weeks) 9.3.10 hence start date of 24.2.10 – mother may have c-section and will breast feed. Position is live in, 5 or 6 days a week for 4-6 weeks.

Nursery Nurses

Bamboo Childcare is pleased to be working in partnership with a new nursery due to open in Hyde, in September.

We are recruiting for a whole staff team to run the nursery including Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Room Leaders and Nursery Nurses.

Candidates must be experienced childcare professionals with the following qualifications/experience:

Nursery Nurses, NVQ level 2 or 3 in childcare or equivalent, plus experience of working with children

Room leaders, NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent with the necessary experience to manage a room, would suit senior nursery nurses looking for next step or people with Room Leader experience.

Deputy Managers, at least NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent, and 2 years experience working within a nursery setting and the drive to manage.

Managers, NVQ level 4 or equivalent, management experience at ether deputy level or manager level.

Candidates whom are looking for part-time work are welcomed.
