The successful candidate will need to manage the provision of the nursery ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together to provide high quality childcare for up to 57 children ranging from a few months old to 4 years. The ideal candidate will be :-

  • responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring that all compliance, legislation and Ofsted standards are met.
  • able to lead, direct, motivate, recognise good & poor performance & manage accordingly
  • manage the financial budget
  • organise staff training and ongoing learning
  • able to demonstrate proven management skills gained in a similar position
  • IT literate

Must have:-

  • NNEB or NVQ 3 equivalent qualification

Deputy Manager – Urgent!

Our client is an established Nursery based in Fulham,London.

They are currently looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the implementation of high quality childcare practice to provide for a safe and stimulating environment for children and staff at the nursery.

You must have:

Some essential requirements please before you make this call are

  • You must be over 18years of age.
  • Have a minimum of 6mths experience working with children 0-5yrs of age either as an au-pair/ nanny or babysitter/ childminder or worked in a nursery.
  • 2 letters of reference, written and signed by the parents of the children or the nursery manager.
  • Should be pro-active. energetic, good natured with cheery disposition and be able to ”get on with it” so to speak.NO time wasters/slackers please!

We also offer temporary ongoing assignments at different nurseries in and around London.

NB: You will need to bring the following with you to the interview:

  • Passport
  • 2 Passport photos
  • 2 Proof of address
  • 2 Letters of reference in childcare (see above)

One to One Teaching Assistant KS 2

This local primary school is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work one to one with a Year 6 child with additional needs. They are looking to appoint someone who has worked previously in a school setting with demonstrable experience of working on a 121 basis or having worked in a small group setting.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Support Teaching and Learning is desirable but not necessary. However, you must have worked in a school setting within the last 2 years for a period of 3 months or longer.

Deputy Nursery Manager

Deputy Nursery Manager Job in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Salary: £16000 – £17000 depending on experience

This Gloucestershire nursery has an excellent reputation in the local area and is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or Manager.
You will play a key role in this Nursery and you will be the Curriculum Lead as well as the Pre-school Room Leader. If you have a proven history of excellent staff management, can build strong relationships with parents this would be the job for you. A strong management team would also support the successful candidate.

You will require a passion for your work with the Early Years, a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a desire to achieve within your childcare career.

To be considered for this Deputy Nursery Manager job in Gloucestershire, you must:

  • Hold a Degree in Early Childhood Studies or equivalent
  • Be comfortable to take the role of Curriculum Lead
  • Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience
