Currently we are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Nurse who is looking for a new challenge. The refurbished nursery is part of a large chain of childcare providers, and is located in a stunning Health Club in North London, just off the North Circular.

This setting has a welcoming atmosphere with a great deal of character where children always feel at home. The curriculum offered is a varied programme of learning through play which closely follows the EYFS curriculum. The nursery offers a safe, secure, stimulating environment which enables each child to develop to their full potential and at their own individual rate – all this carefully planned by the staff. The nursery caters for children from all cultural and religious backgrounds and offers a full day and crèche session.
The right candidate will have:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a Childcare related subject
- Minimum of 2 years experience from a similar position
- Sound knowledge of EYFS and National Standards
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with children, staff and parents
- The ability to be a flexible and enthusiastic team member
- A good knowledge of what constitutes a healthy and safe environment for under 5`s
- Excellent communication skills
- A warm caring personality
- An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
- A good sense of team spirit
Your responsibilities will be:
- To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To liaise with parents and surrounding team members, monitor progress, keep records and reports and communicate any suggested improvements that can be made to help the child`s development
- To ensure the nursery’s philosophy is followed and enhanced at all times.
- To ensure the welfare of the children in your care and act as a role model for the nursery with parents
- Attending the staff meetings and contributing in a positive and constructive way
