Leading Private Day Nursery is looking to recruit a qualified Primary School Teacher to work with the 3-5 year olds. The teacher will be solely responsible for delivering the EYFS Curriculum and will be supported with qualified Nursery Nurses.

You must be fully qualified and be interested in this age group and the Early Years learning goals. The Teacher will work from 8am until 4pm and your Duties will include -

teaching all areas of the EY curriculum;

taking responsibility for the progress of a class of pre-school age pupils;

organising the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment;

planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class;

motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;

maintaining discipline;

preparing and marking to facilitate positive child development;

meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of child’s development;

providing feedback to parents on a child’s progress at parents’ evenings and other meetings;

working with others to plan and coordinate work;

staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;

taking part in Nursery events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
