This academy based in SE London opened in September 2008. The Academys specialisms are Enterprise and Science with a can-do ethos drawn from the world of sport of always improving upon your personal best. A new purpose built Academy to the value of £25 million will follow in 2011 through Partnership for Schools.
They are looking for a dynamic NQT or experienced teacher in English. A responsibility allowance would be available for a suitable candidate with relevant experience. They want to appoint staff who will make a difference to the Academy during this exciting and challenging time. The successful candidate will be required to teach at both Key Stages. There will be ample opportunity to develop your teaching styles and learn management skills within their highly supportive Induction or NQT Programmes.
NQTs will be fully supported by, and play an active part in the whole school and wider community. You must:
- Be committed to excellence.
- Be enthusiastic about your subject.
- Encourage students to excel.
To apply you will:
- Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, B:Ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
- Be able to teach through all the key stages would be advantageous.
- Have UK teaching experience.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Be resident in the UK now.
- Hold a current CRB disclosure.
