The successful candidate will be able to care for the children and encourage their learning, competent with Foundation Stage 0-5 with proven experience in the six areas of learning which form the basis of the foundation stage curriculum: Personal, social and emotional development. Communication, language and literacy. Mathematical development. Knowledge and understanding of the world. Physical development and Creative development

To assist the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children in care.

To ensure all daily routines are carried out and records kept up to date.

To assist in maintaining a safe, clean and tidy base room.

To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented into the nursery.

To communicate with parents and other visitors in a calm, friendly and effective manner.

To contribute to and participate in team meetings/activities.

Nursery Nurses must:

Hold Level 3 qualification

Have proven experience within the last 2 years

Have a willingness to promote learning

Be flexible and use initiative at all times

Have good knowledge of early years education
