Full-time Mon-Fri 7am-7pm sole-charge Live-out Nanny/Housekeeper Wimbledon Start End Sept/Oct
A lovely Wimbledon family with 4 children, 3 of them grown up and living away from home at boarding school, university and work, and one attending a local day school (28, 21, 17 and 9) is looking for a conscientious, honest, loyal and enthusiastic Nanny/House-keeper to start end Sept/Oct for a long-term commitment.
The hours are 7am-7pm Mon-fri with 3 hours free in the middle of each day (except during school holidays when you would be on duty all day but would be able to take time off when daughter at play-dates etc).
Salary is £450 net per week.
NOTE: A separate cleaner is employed for heavy domestic duties.
Key duties include:
- Getting the 9-year old girl up and driving her to school
- Managing the household – shopping; arranging odd-job men; electricians etc when needed; dropping off and collecting dry-cleaning; being in charge of all laundry
- Walking the two labrador dogs
- Driving to collect the 9 year old daughter from school
- Supervising 9 year old’s homework; encouraging her with her work
- Cooking for all the family (all 4 children may be around during holiday times)
The mother describes the family as pretty laid back and the household can be sometimes quiet 9especially during term-time) and busy during holiday periods.
The ideal candidate will be a straight-forward person who can show a degree of flexibility as the family promises a “give and take” relationship with very generous holidays (around 7 weeks).
