We are looking for a Nursery Manager to join one of our Nurseries on a permanent basis. You will be someone with exceptional knowledge of Safeguarding including the welfare requirements and have exceptional customer service and Administration skills. The ability to manage a budget including debt and provide campaigns to increase occupancy will be a part of this role.
If you have the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse staff team and promote only the very best standards of care and education for all children aswell as meet the expectations of parents this is the position for you.
The nursery caters for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff.
To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
To be influential in developing strong links with parents.
You will need to be:
EYPS/NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent and will need to have, knowledge of OFSTED standards, excellent knowledge of the EYFS, excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines, excellent communication skills, strong people management skills and knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
Previous relevant management experience is essential
