Nurses Nurse – Watford

Bretsa are an Early Years Recruitment Specialist looking for full time Nursery Nurses who hold a Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.

This would suit candidates looking to further the career within a large Private Day Nursery or a newly qualified Nursery Nurse seeking to gain more practical experience.

Main Duties:

• Provide high quality care and activities for babies and children which recognise both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.

• Organise activities, both inside and outside the nursery, which encourage creativity development, co-ordination, independence, self expression, and learning through play.

• Participate in the key worker system and be responsible for a group of children up to five years of age, and monitor, assess and record and report on their development and progress.

• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and other appropriate guidance for younger children.

• Work in partnership with parents and carers, recognising that parents are their children’s first educators, and encourage parental involvement in the nursery and other company activities.
