Putney, SW15: Enthusiastic, hard-working, fun, weekend nanny required for girls of 8weeks and 3years at start. Busy family are looking for a lovely, confident, professional nanny to work Saturday and Sunday from 730AM-730PM with some ad hoc babysitting by arrangement. Driver would be an advantage but not essential. Start early June. Negotiable hourly Gross salary paid on qualifications and experience.
The family want someone who is capable of sole charge but who also can work well with the parents. Someone who is good with routines especially involving meal and bed times-currently using the Gina Ford routine. Duties will include all usual nursery duties including preparing and tidying up after their meals, keeping the nursery and playroom tidy, taking them to their weekend activities (eg. ballet, swimming). On a typical weekend, the family will need to spend some time away from the children eg. going to the gym. The family are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible nanny who could take the children to the park/museums/play with them in the garden. When the nanny’s involvement is not required with the children the family would be grateful if the nanny could do other things related to the children (eg. sort out their clothing and toys, sew name tapes, wrap birthday presents, prepare activities for them for the following weekend etc). Applicants for this position must be willing to travel outside London for day trips during the weekend although you would be back at the flat by 7.30pm. Evening babysitting on Friday or Saturday on offer on an ad-hoc basis if the nanny wishes to take this on at an additional hourly rate. The family are looking for a nanny who could stay with the family long-term and who would be supportive of the 3year old who is adjusting to the addition of a sibling.
