Art Teacher
An enthusiastic, passionate Art Teacher is required within a beautiful, well-resourced Nursery, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.
You will be responsible for planning and providing all Art sessions for the different age groups, so you must have a good understanding of the development of these young children, as well as the knowledge of how to adapt activities to suit all abilities.
Ideally you will have knowledge of the Early Years curriculum, but this is not essential, as full training will be provided.
You will have a relevant Art qualification (ideally at Degree Level) and a good knowledge of the History of Art. QTS is ideal, but not essential.

You must be committed to work full time, throughout the year, as this Nursery is not closed during the school holiday periods.

Some of your responsibilities as an Art Teacher will include:
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To plan, prepare and review the Art curriculum reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To advise and guide the Team regarding
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Relevant Art qualification, ideally to Degree standard
- Have experience of working with children
