Room Leader
An experienced Room Leader is required in Dorking!
Ideally you will have managed your own room previously and will understand how to get the best from your staff team. This Nursery is part of a growing organisation, so there will be lots of opportunity to progress your career into the future. To succeed within this role you will need to be committed to your work with children, have good organisation and communication skills and enjoy building good working relationships with parents.
You will be required to ensure your room is run to a high standard, maintaining the level of quality childcare and education already in place within the Nursery. In return, you will be provided with a stimulating and varied working environment, with excellent resources, that will allow you to be really creative with the children in your care.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Have experience of working with children
