Experienced Nuresry Manager required by this busy nursery for this small provider.
As the Nursery Manager you will be responsible for the overall day to day running of the Nursery. The successful applicant will be passionate about working in childcare, work well within a team and develop excellent relationships with parents as well as having a very good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
Qualifications required -
NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE level 3 Diploma, NVQ level 3, HNC, SNVQ 3, NVQ level 4, Foundation Degree, Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)
Other Skills required –
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
- Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
- Good time management skills
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Good knowledge of EYFS
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong people management skills

- Considerate and patient and professional at all times
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include
- The day to day running of the nursery
- To work alongside management to achieve excellent standards within the nursery
- To achieve budget and occupancy for the nursery
- To meet and greet parents, show prospective parents around the nursery
- To recruit and select staff as when needed together with appraisals of all staff
- To ensure that all the requirements for OFSTED and other legislative bodies are adhered to
- To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
- To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times.
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents and provide good customer service
- To ensure confidentiality at all times.
