We are currently recruiting a Nursery Manager for one of our long established clients.

The nursery offers a full day care provision for children aged from 3 months to 5 years within a purpose built community establishment.

This post is one that requires a very experienced childcare services manager who is able to delegate the general day to day childcare provision to an established senior team allowing them to concentrate on the further development of the setting.

Applicants must have the following:

• Minimum of 5 years experience within a day care setting for children
• Excellent Managerial, financial and business development skills
• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Ideally Level 4 or above)
• Full knowledge of Relative Legislation, Ofsted requirements and Curriculum practices
• Ability for strategic planning and development
• Ability to meet budgetary constraints with effective control
• Excellent HR and team management skills
• Experience with dealing with relevant services and agencies for children’s services
• Experience of grant and funding applications and tenders
• Ability to support staff and identify needs where required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
