My client has a proud tradition of employing highly-trained and motivated childcare professionals and they are currently seeking a Montessori Teacher to join their passionate team. The setting is well established, popular and very successful. It is well equipped and has a large outdoor space where lessons do sometimes take place. You will need to be a fully qualified Montessori Teacher.
Experienced Montessori Teacher required on a full time basis for a Nursery School based in Putney. The candidate must be Montessori qualified, have at least 1 years post qualification experience and be able to work full time.
Duties:
To ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Montessori room.
To ensure the Montessori philosophy is followed and enhanced at all times.
To ensure the welfare of the children in your care and act as a role model for the organisation with the parents.
To keep the Nursery Manager informed of any issues as they arise.
Required Experience:
At least 1 years experience prior as a Montessori Teacher.
Ability to keep the Montessori environment to the required standard
Competent in Arts & Craft
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to plan ahead
Knowledge of the required Health & Safety and Policy & Procedures standards in a Montessori / Pre-School setting
Qualifications:
Montessori Diploma from a recognised Montessori College
First Aid certified
Manual Handling certified
Other Personal Attributes required:
Genuine passion for working with children
To be self motivated and ability to motivate others
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
To be flexible
Team player
Willingness to attend workshops and staff meetings
Initiative and ability to cope under pressure
