Hays Education is currently looking for qualified Nursery Nurses and Nursery Assistants to work in Early Years settings in the Hull and East Riding areas. We are looking to recruit highly skilled candidates with recent and relevant experience within the childcare industry, for a variety of Early Years settings from large city centre to smaller rural nurseries.
Our Hull office is dedicated to servicing nurseries in the Hull and East Riding area for day-to-day, long-term and permanent assignments. We have excellent relationships and successfully work with a number of Early Years settings across the Hull and East Riding region to secure a high number of interesting and challenging vacancies.

Required Skills and Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education as a minimum requirement
• A good theoretical and working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and getting involved in group activities and promoting ‘Learning Through Play’
• At least 3 months previous work experience in a similar childcare environment and be able to provide suitable references
• Committed to maintaining high standards in childcare
• Roles vary from planning day to day activities, carrying out observations and providing feedback.
• Meeting and greeting Children, and providing support during mealtimes
• Getting involved in group activities and promoting ‘Learning Through Play’
• Carrying out observation and recording documentation and providing feedback to parents
• Flexible, responsible and reliable
• Caring and friendly
