We are looking to employ a Nursery Deputy/ Manager ASAP.
The suitable person must be committed to delivering excellent childcare service to the benefit of parents, and their children. You must be comfortable leading and working within a team and be very result oriented; with the ability to carry team members along.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation within the guidelines of Ofsted/CSIW and the Welfare Requirements.
You will ensure that all our children are offered equal opportunities irrespective of their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background.
You must be able to foster teamwork among staff members.
Planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of each child’s individual development.
Ensuring that proper developmental records and observations are kept
Person Specification:
You will be NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualified
Ability to maintain accurate developmental records – planning, observations,
Reports
You will have Supervisory / Management experience of a small team
You must have a sound working knowledge of ‘Birth to Five Matters’ (EYFS) and good working knowledge of the welfare requirements.
A clear understanding of the Ofsted standards and how to implement them
