Recruitment Consultant – Nanny Desk

An exciting opportunity for a childcare professional who is looking for a change in direction and wanting to do something new!

We are looking for a career-minded individual who is interested in joining a successful business with the ability to contribute to its expansion.

This role would suit someone who has a strong understanding of the childcare industry.

The successful candidate will join an existing team of consultants and be responsible for developing our Nanny desk.

As a consultant your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Identify, approach and conduct initial telephone screening of candidates
  • Conduct face to face interviews
  • Take candidates through the Caleeda screening procedure and report on the feedback of prospective candidates to both your manager and clients.
  • You will be tasked with developing long-term relationships with both the candidates and clients, continually updating your market knowledge in order to add value to the search process and identify potential business opportunities.

Essential characteristics:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to clients and candidates at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely organised
  • Adept in using ITC
  • Ability to translate and action candidate and client information.
  • Ability to multitask and manage number assignments simultaneously.
  • A strong desire to succeed and always conscious of providing the best possible service to all clients and candidates.
  • Previous experience within the childcare and education sector is essential, preferably at management level but not essential
  • Previous experience within recruitment or an office based role is essential.

Key Tasks

  • As a consultant you would be expected to use off and online tools
  • Identify potential candidates
  • Assess candidates suitability for the role
  • Interview the candidates and take them through screening procedures
  • Update assignment progress on company database
  • Provide feedback to clients on assignment progress
