This well known nursery provider is looking for a switched on deputy manager to join their team.

The purpose-built nursery is a 5-minute walk from the station. They have 9 fully-equipped group rooms which cater for 92 children.

You must hold a level 3 CACHE/BTEC/NNEB/NVQ or equivalent in childcare and have supervisory experience.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting the manager in the day to day running of the nursery
• Leading and deputizing staff
• Liaising with parents/guardians and external bodies including Ofsted and the local council
• Dealing with office administration
• Monthly tally of employee working hours & payroll returns
• Recruiting, interviewing, inducting, keeping to staff-child ratio’s
