Friendly, busy Italian family are looking for a lovely, fun, warm, loving & caring discreet nanny to join them and care for their sons of 7 & 18 months. The nanny will be responsible for taking the children to age appropriate activities including swimming & playgroups, nursery runs etc. As the position is based in a village area the nanny needs to be creative, able to provide stimulation and a self-starter. There are other English speaking nannying living & working in the area. This position is approx 50% sole & 50% shared charge and the right nanny needs to be a good team player. The area is semi rural and will suite a nanny who loves getting outdoors, hiking, running, swimming etc. Based in Gentilino, Lugano and the lake. There are flights from London to Lugano or to Milan, which is a 45 minute drive away. Normal nursery duties are required along with cooking healthy food for the children. The family also have a 2nd home at the beach in Genoa, Italy. As the family have two dogs, Lab’s called Pebbles & Bam Bam the nanny will need to be comfortable around dogs. Accomidation for the nanny is a lovely large bedroom & bathroom with own entrance and direct access to the garden.
Late evening and Saturday appointments available by request.
